Workshops are at the heart of The Energy Fair’s mission – public education about renewable energy and sustainability. Each year, there are over 250 workshops in Wisconsin and plan to offer 100 workshops in Minnesota related to clean energy, energy efficiency, and sustainable living topics. Levels range from kid-friendly to continuing education for industry professionals. Presenters are experts in their field of topic.
New this year, we will be hosting a second Energy Fair in St. Paul, MN! This event will be held September 9-10, 2017 at Harriet Island Park with a solar professional pre-fair day on September 8. MREA is pleased to offer a limited number of stipends to assist workshop presenters at the Minnesota Energy Fair with lodging and travel costs thanks to the Brookby Foundation. If you would like to present a workshop and apply for a stipend, please include “Stipend Applicant” in the notes section. A limited number of stipends are available, and recipients will be selected by the Events Committee.
We offer a variety of workshop types:
- Extended Workshops (in-depth, 3 hours for $30)
- Solar Professional (NABCEP Continuing Education)
- Architects and Builders (AIA/GBCI Continuing Education)
