Electronic Recycling

Attention all vendors and attendees! Get rid of your old laptops and cell phones for FREE!
Good news Project, an area non-profit, will be collecting Laptops, iPads/Tablets, Chromebooks, all cell phones, and ANY electronic cords FREE of charge (usually $0.45 per pound) during the Fair*. Clean out your basement, keep toxins out of landfills, and preserve valuable resources.
Conveniently located near the front entrance. Look for Good News Project e-CYCLING on the fairgrounds map.

Good News Project complies with state and federal disposal regulations that ensure environmental safety. All items will be passed to a Wisconsin professional recycling company where they are processed in accordance to R2 and ISO 14001 standards. Recyclers will break down your electronics, reuse or recycle safe materials, and properly manage hazardous chemicals or wastes. The recycling company sends Good News Project a certificate after each shipment, and proves complete and confidential destruction of sensitive equipment.

Daily Yoga Sessions – Chair Yoga For the Ageless
Learn More After the age of 55 the body starts to lose balance, mobility, and strength. In this workshop, we will test your level of strength, Mobility, and Balance and then work on improving those areas. The workshop includes a free E-book explaining the principals and methodologies of the Program. Jim recommends wearing loose clothing and bringing a towel or blanket to put on your chair if interested.

The Energy Storage System (ESS) Tech Center is an integral part of the MREA’s Solar Plus Storage curriculum and provides both an in-person exploration and an in-depth, hands-on training, along with consumer-facing tours of some of the leading residential battery energy storage systems available. 90-minute tours will be available to Fair attendees on all three days of the event.
