Primitive Provider’s Breakfast Burritos at the MREA Cafe
FRIDAY – Open 6:30 a.m. to presenters, exhibitors, volunteers, sponsors and 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. to the public. Loaded breakfast burritos from Primitive Provider using local and organic grown ingredients including pastured pork from Primitive Pastures; vegetables from area farmers, including Rising Sand Organic Cooperative Farm, dairy products from Organic Valley, and homemade tortillas by Rural Uprising. Vegetarian burrito option will be available.
Also swing by to enjoy bakery treats from Earth Crust Bakery, Main Grain Bakery, and Zest Bakery. Gluten free and vegan options. Coffee donated by Colectivo Coffee, Emy J’s, Liberation Farmers, and Peace Coffee. Make sure to ask about our ‘Bottomless Coffee Cup’ to keep you going all weekend. This breakfast helps raise funds for the MREA’s educational programs.

Organic Valley Breakfast at the Main Stage
SATURDAY & SUNDAY – 7:30 – 11:00 a.m. (Open 7:30 a.m. to presenters, exhibitors, volunteers, sponsors and 9:00 a.m. to the public) Treat yourself to a hearty breakfast of eggs, hash browns, sausage, yogurt, coffee, orange juice, tea, and more. Hosted by Organic Valley with Kickapoo Coffee Roasters served and fruit and bagels donated by the Stevens Point Area Co-op, you are sure to leave satisfied. This breakfast helps raise funds for the MREA’s educational programs. Cost is $5.
Camping at the Back 40?
Swing by the Coffee Bean and grab morning treats and fresh-brewed coffee at the campground.
Our food vendors offer a range of delicious, healthy foods we give preference to vendors who use healthy, locally-sourced, and organic ingredients. If you have food allergies, please speak with food vendors to learn about their ingredient lists. Water is free at The Fair. Please bring your own bottle, as the sale of bottled water is not allowed.

MREA Cafe opens at 6:30 a.m. for volunteers, exhibitors, presenters, and sponsors. All proceeds benefit MREA Renewable Energy Training Programs.



We are pleased to announce new food offerings in the MREA Cafe this year through our partnership with Mikey’s, Tine & Cellar, and A-Soshel.
The MREA Cafe will feature the following lunch/dinner plates from 11:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday & 11:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. on Sunday:
Central Waters Bourbon Barrel Stout Pulled Pork—House-smoked organic pork from Liberation Farmers, tossed in Mikey’s’ own Memphis-style Central Waters Bourbon Barrel Stout BBQ sauce and topped with cranberry-cherry slaw. Served with rustic potato chips and pickled vegetable.
Central Waters Shine On Drunken Tacos—Two flour tortillas filled with Central Waters Shine On & tequila-braised-shredded chicken and finished with a honey-lime slaw. Served with house tortilla chips and fresh salsa (tomatoes, chilis, cilantro, onion, garlic).
Ingredients for these menu items are sourced as locally as possible. The following companies have contributed their sustainable products to this year’s MREA Cafe:

Looking for a refreshing break at The Energy Fair? Stop by the Beer & Cider Tent for a local, solar brewed beer from Central Waters Brewing Co. out of Amherst, WI and cider from Vines and Rushes out of Ripon, WI.
In addition to beer, root beer donated from Stevens Point Brewery is available for purchase. All proceeds benefit MREA’s mission to promote renewable energy, efficiency, and sustainable living through education and demonstration.

- Central Waters Brewing Co. – Located just 9 miles from The Fair, Central Waters Brewing is focused on sustainability and utilizes 120 kW of solar electric along with a large solar thermal array for heating.

This event is FREE to all MREA Members. (Business members can receive two tickets per business membership.) A cash bar will be available. Not already an MREA Member, but interested in learning more about our mission? Please join us! Limited tickets available.

Join us for a fun evening filled with refreshing cocktails, delicious Puerto Rican inspired cuisine, and lively conversation all in support of MREA’s programs and initiatives. Chef Scott Rockman will prepare a four-course meal with locally-sourced ingredients that will delight your taste buds and either be the perfect finale to your day at the Fair or fuel you up to dance the night away. Tickets are limited; purchase yours in advance online. Vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options available. MREA Members $40 / Non-Members $55. Cash bar.
