Stanton West started his musical career in the 6th grade when he learned alto saxophone for the school band. Life’s adventures found him living in a tree house in Alaska, bicycling from Canada down the coast of California, trekking in Peru, leading coastal sea kayaking trips, and wandering the Na Pali coast. Then he started his career as a songwriter and traveling minstrel. Since he has performed thousands of shows nationwide. He has written & directed plays, musicals, dabbles in film making, was on staff at the MREA, co-starred in an independent film with Garrison Keillor, teaches music at the Tomorrow River Community Charter School, and co-founded the Wisconsin Roots Music Cooperative. He is passionate about Food, Compost, Renewable Energy, and Narwhals.
